We were appointed to deliver a comprehensive bespoke joinery package across four floors at the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons. The project required a refined, considered approach, balancing contemporary craftsmanship with respect for the institution’s heritage and prestige.
Scope of Works
Our works included the design, manufacture, and installation of a wide range of bespoke joinery elements, all tailored to the functional and aesthetic needs of the College:
Integration of heirloom stained glass, housed within bespoke back-lit display boxes to showcase these historic pieces
- Bespoke reception desk, featuring CNC-engraved emblems to reflect the College’s identity and heritage
- Registration desks finished in a bronze-effect laminate, providing a modern yet understated aesthetic
- Custom seating, storage units, and display units, designed for durability and daily use
- Oak veneer display walls, crafted to deliver warmth and architectural presence throughout the space

Craftsmanship & Care
A key feature of this project was the handling and installation of the prestigious heirloom stained glass, which held significant historical value to the College. Each piece required exceptional care, precision, and respect, from manufacture of the housings through to final installation. Our team worked meticulously to ensure the glass was protected at every stage while being beautifully presented within the finished environment.
Outcome
The completed works provide a cohesive and elegant interior across all four floors, successfully blending heritage elements with contemporary joinery. The project stands as a testament to our attention to detail, craftsmanship, and ability to work sensitively within prestigious institutional environments.
